Depending on the nature and purpose of your interaction with Big Panda (creating a user account, subscribing to the Newsletter, filling out contact forms, as well as during any telephone exchanges), we may collect the following Data :
- Your email address will necessarily be requested if you wish to create a user account, communicate with us via contact forms, and/or receive our Newsletter;
- Data relating to your identity such as your name, first name, user category, email address, may be requested;

To facilitate the user experience, Big Panda offers the following payment methods for purchases on the Website :
- Online payment by Bank Card (Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard);
- Payment via PayPal on Big Panda;
- Payment by bank transfer on Big Panda.
Payments are processed by our partners (ING Belgium, Stripe, PayPal).
Big Panda does not have access to your bank card credentials or numbers.
All transactions are secured using SSL encryption, ensuring both the identity of the payment institution and the confidentiality of the data.
♦ For sending our Newsletters
Our email campaigns are managed through the services of Odoo SA - Chaussée de Namur, 40 - 1367 Ramillies, Belgium.
All of the aforementioned subcontractors, service providers, partners, or other third parties are bound by contractual obligations to respect the confidentiality and protection of Data and to process it only for the purposes for which we transmit it to them.
Your Data may be transferred to any buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of all or part of Big Panda's assets due to uncertainties or bankruptcy, liquidation, or other processes in which the Data of users of the various Big Panda Websites are among the assets transferred.
Finally, we may also disclose your Data :
- to comply with any legal mandate, law, or legal process, including government and regulatory requests;

5. HOW LONG ARE YOUR DATA RETAINED?
Big Panda only retains your Data for the duration necessary for the purposes outlined in Article 3.
This retention period varies depending on the Data involved, as the nature and purpose of the collection may affect this duration. Similarly, certain legal obligations impose specific retention periods.
When you are subscribed to the Newsletter, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe.
When you contact Big Panda using the various After-Sales Service (SAS) contact forms or communicate with us by phone, your data will be retained for up to five (5) years from the last contact.
Regarding your user account, your billing data is retained for ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
The rest of your data will be retained for five (5) years from your request to deactivate your user account.
Your bank card details, for any purchase, will be retained for thirteen (13) months from the debit date, in case of any transaction disputes.
Upon your request, your user account on the Website will be deactivated and then completely deleted after the aforementioned durations from the day you made the request.
Finally, regarding Data collected through cookies or trackers, they will be retained for up to six (6) months for cookies or trackers measuring audience and up to thirteen (13) months for others.
Beyond the aforementioned retention periods, your Data will be anonymized for exclusive statistical purposes.
6. HOW ARE YOUR DATA PROTECTED?
Your Data is stored on secure servers protected by firewalls and antivirus software.
We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Data against accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

In any case, you have the ability to access your user account at any time to review or update your Data and unsubscribe from our Newsletter.
In accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection regulations, particularly the European Regulation 2016/679 on Data Protection (the "GDPR"), you have the right to access and rectify your Data.
You also have the right to set guidelines regarding the fate of your Data in the event of your death.
